Annette Shae

Birth Place: Yass Year of Birth: 1964

Background: Born at Yass of the Ngunnawal people from Canberra and surrounding areas. Attended primary school at Yass then the family moved to Canberra where she has been living for the past 40 years. Started painting Aboriginal artworks after joining the Yurauna Centre, CIT campus Reid using acrylic paint on canvas. Aboriginal artworks include: screen printing painting on silk with Aboriginal designs and images, jewellery necklaces, bracelets and earings and pottery.
