Dennis is a Bidjara man and describes himself
as an accidental artist.
Themes:
Dennis says his art comes to him through his
Aboriginality, he lets his thoughts, dreams and
connections to his Country direct his art. He
acquired permission from his Elders to paint using
ochres in the traditional style of his people.
Dennis works with wood and will never apply acrylic paint to his pieces.
His very first painting was used as the cover of the Department of Industry’s
Reconciliation Action Plan.
