Dylan Barnes

Born: Gosford, NSW Dylan is a young Aboriginal artist, who has cultural connections to the Wiradjuri people through his grandmother’s people. He grew up on Darkinjung land on the Central coast of New South Wales and now lives on Dharug land at Macquarie University. He is currently a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Indigenous Studies and Politics at the University. His work is mainly with acrylic on canvas but has branched out to painting fabrics and non-conventional materials. He has commissioned artworks for the NSW Trustee and Guardian in 2018 and has designed the jersey for the NSW Waratahs Indigenous Rounds in 2019 as per the image below
