Birth Place: Peak Hill Year of Birth: 1969
Background: She is a member of the Wiradjuri tribe and she has a strong cultural link to the Wiradjuri land through her mother. Jenny began painting in 2008 and is self-taught. She is part of a range of new up and coming Aboriginal artists in the region and has adopted a contemporary and very unique style of Aboriginal dot painting. As an emerging artist she has successfully sold work both locally and internationally. Jenny paints primarily for her own enjoyment and is extremely happy when others also appreciate her art work. The inspirations for Jenny's artwork comes from the landscapes, flora and fauna of the local areas around NSW and the ACT.
Themes: Jenny paints mainly on canvas or canvas boards using acrylic paints and has also decorated a number of other items such as wine glass holders, boomerangs and other traditional artefacts.
